About MCCB Chicago

Attention Friends, Restaurant last call for dine-in @ 9pm. Thank You^^

MCCB Chicago is a chinese restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. It is listed at 2138 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60616, which places it among the local businesses of Chicago that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Chicago; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Illinois are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 12–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (312) 881-0168. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is mccbchicago.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 1,458 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Chicago and suggests consistent service.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Chicago is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Illinois's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I can’t believe I accidentally deleted my photo of the special fried tofu!! I wanted to display the massive portion and well-seasoned greatness. That tofu was fantastic! Great flavor, perfectly fried to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I asked for a little extra spice and they delivered with the jalapeΓ±os. The sever also gave me some chili oil too. The chili oil was fantastic on the Crab Rangoon! We ordered that as an appetizer. My friend got one of the shrimp noodle dishes and she said it was extremely delicious! The restaurant is small, but they flip the tables quickly. However, I highly recommend that you make a reservation.

Amazing dining experience! The food was fresh and full of flavor. The menu has plenty of options, and it’s easy to see why this place is so popular. The service was fast, friendly and efficient; restaurant was very busy. If you’re visiting Chicago’s Chinatown, MCCB is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss, we did not have a reservation and there were people waiting but the line was moving pretty quickly. We had: Mongolian & sesame chicken dishes, portions were generous.

Holy moly this place is amazing. Tiny and amazing. The wonton soup was delightfully clean and flavorful, and the flank steak with spicy garlic sauce was an abolute killer. Not actually very spicy, but the flavor was some of the best I've had.

The staff was welcoming, we had about 1 hour and 30 min wait. The food was average nothing to brag about. It did seem fresh. I don't have to go again. They do give you large portion so 1 person can share. We ordered dumplings, shrimp low main, teriyaki chicken and rice

Tucked away in Chicago’s Chinatown is a restaurant you must try. Recommended by friends, MCCB is a Michelin-star Chinese restaurant that we decided was our BEST meal in Chicago (and that is saying something). We seriously debated going two nights in a row - it was that good. They have maybe ten tables total in this little restaurant within a Chinatown strip mall. You have to put your name in, and hold your spot with $10 (that is then applied to your meal). Is it all worth it, you ask? Yes and more. The dishes came out hot, flavorful, and well worth the hoopla. Additionally, we were stunned at the affordable cost. We ordered the garlic green beans, the cheng du style dumplings with sweet sauce, the dry chili chicken, chow mein.
